Begonia's Family Day Care is a licensed* child care facility providing quality care for more than 25 years. We offer a safe, clean and stimulating environment for your infant and toddler to grow and thrive. Healthy, organic meals are served daily, and a preschool teacher is on staff to provide activities that enrich and engage your child, while they're having fun!
Begonia is fluent in English and Spanish and all of her staff are CPR certified and have undergone fingerprinting and background checks as required by the state of California. Children 2-months old to 4-years old are welcome. Full-time, part-time and drop-in care is available. The day care is open daily from 7:30am-5:30pm.

Organic, Home Cooked Meals
We believe the foundation for a healthy and happy child begins with a healthy meal. Your child will start his or her day with a breakfast snack, which might include: oatmeal, waffles, or whole wheat toast; fresh fruit; and milk. For lunch, we offer well-rounded meals, such as: lentil, butternut squash, or spinach soup; spaghetti; quesadillas; and always fruit. We incorporate fruit, vegetables and protein into each meal. Healthy snacks are also included throughout the day.
Enriching Play and Activities
Our staff preschool teacher provides games and activities to teach skills that build a foundation for learning. Activities center around a different theme each month and include: art projects to explore creativity and increase fine motor skills; puzzles; reading; name recognition games; music and singing; and more.
Children at Begonia's Family Day Care have access to a beautiful, grassy backyard equipped with fun and safe play equipment. The inside play room is spacious and filled with lots of educational toys. The children have ample room to play and enjoy time with friends. Each child has their very own sleeping area which makes nap time more like home.
She is like family to us. So loving to our daughter. Begonia's Family Day Care is amazing. The kids are so busy playing and learning. There is a different learning focus each week and the kids have fun listening to stories, singing, dancing and doing art projects. She makes a freshly prepared hot meal each day which my daughter loves. I love it, too, knowing she's having a healthy, hot meal every day. We couldn't be happier with Begonia's Family Day Care!

I was apprehensive when I had to look for a day care for my new baby boy. I had heard wonderful things about Begonia's Family Day Care and decided to inquire. From the moment I met Begonia, I knew my search for a great day care was over. My son Ben, now 2 years old, has been attending her day care since he was four months old. It is truly a special place where the children are given much love, attention and nurturing. At Begonia's the children are served nutritious, hot meals, they listen to music, play together and learn to interact in a small group setting. In addition to the caring environment, Begonia's day care is immaculate! You seriously could eat off the floor. I can't say enough about Begonia . . . her day care is wonderful and she is truly a special person.

I highly recommend Miss Begonia's Day Care. I feel like she's family to my son and I. I am truly blessed to have her as my son's daycare provider. My son has been going to Begonia since April 2009. He is now 2 1/2 years old. I am a single mom and love the fact that he smiles at her when he walks in the door. He loves playing and learning new things each and every day. I found Begonia through a trusted friend. Her daughter, who is now 13, attended Begonia's day care when she was my son's age so I didn't hesitate to send my son there.
Knowing my son receives nutritious meals and snacks is really important to me. I know he's very well taken care of. They are constantly learning new things, learing how to interact with each other, sharing and playing together. I especially love all the art projects that my son brings home. Each month they have a list posted of what they will be learning.
She has a beautiful play area inside and out, plenty of room for the kids to explore things and learn to play and share with each other.

Begonia's Family Day Care is open open daily from 7:30am-5:30pm, and year round with the exception of the following national holidays and two weeks vacation that is typically taken during the summer months. This schedule allows working parents year-round care without an interruption during the summer months.
